Mubasher: Morgan Stanley’s infrastructure investment platform on Thursday said that it managed to raise $5.5 billion for its latest fund, the US lender’s investment management arm said in a press release.

This came six months after the North Haven Infrastructure Partners III’s first close.

The investment platform’s latest fund comprises a number of the world’s largest institutional infrastructure investors, public and private pension funds, and sovereign wealth funds.

It is worth noting that the Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners invests in private infrastructure assets and companies that can be transformed into core infrastructure assets, with focus on sectors transportation, power generations, natural gas and digital infrastructure.
